If you love fuzzy dice and you’re a geek, you’re going to love this.
(I think fuzzy dice are atrocius, but this one has a certain something going for it.)

It’s a pair of 20-sided Fuzzy Dice, a type of dice well known for RPGers everywhere. You can hang it on your rear view mirror as a very appropriate tribute for Gary Gygax, a way of proclaiming your love of D&D or just because a icosahedron is a very cool geometrical shape.

After the success of the Hummer HT1 phone (more than 50,000 sold), the ModeLabs Group is launching the new model, the Hummer HT2 phone, smaller than the original and with a new color scheme.

Hummer HT2

It offers up to 500 hours of autonomy in standby, has a built-in modem and e-mail client. It is quad-band and also features Dual-SIM. Some (not very impressive) specs follow:

  • 256k colors, 176 x 220 pixel TFT display screen
  • 2 megapixel camera
  • media player (mp3)
  • 11 MB built in memory
  • microSD card slot
  • GPRS
  • Bluetooth
  • 103 x 51 x 12 mm

If you want to get one as soon as it hits the market, find someone who lives in Russia, because that’s where it will be first marketed (first quarter of 2008) or Latin America (end of second quarter). Judging by the $400 price tag of the HT1, the HT2 will probably be just as overpriced.

See after the jump for detailed photos of the phone.

If you’re wondering what the world’s strongest tire is (though I don’t know why you would), we have the answer. It’s made at the Illinois Bridgestone Firestone off-road tire plant and it weighs 15,000 pounds. That’s about as much as a school bus, so this is pretty huge indeed.

Modern Marvels covered the story, and you can check out the video after the jump.

Impressive? You won’t ever see this motorcycle on a road: it’s a PC case mod by Russian Dennis “Xooler” Ilyin.

This design was entered in a case modding sponsored by NVIDIA and won second place. Did it deserve first place? I’m not sure, you can check out the entries here (the site is in Russian, unfortunately).

One more photo after the jump.

SanDisk and Ducati have teamed up and released an official USB drive. The SanDisk Extreme Ducati Edition USB Flash Drive offers 4GB of storage and its design parallels that of a Ducati MotoGP motorcycle.

You also get a lanyard to match the drive, but I’m not sure if that makes the $125 price tag worth it…

Small cars are good for getting around the city everyday, but a small trunk can pose a problem when leaving on a longer trip. The Auto Rucsack solves the problem.

Put simple, it’s a backpack for your car, which can be used as a bag on wheels when you take it off.

The manufacturer’s website is unfortunately in German, but you can download a video from here. Some more photos after the jump.

If your car is worth nothing but the best… here’s the best. You’ll probably think again once you see the price.

Divine Personal Wax

Divine personal wax from Swisswax is custom-made for your car. Made from 60% by volume of ultra pure Brazilian white carnauba, it’s aimed at “a very limited number of collectors and enthusiasts” and it costs 1800 EUR for 2 jars of 200 ml. Thay’s about $2,800.

If you’re one of those collectors, you’ll probably be thrilled to know this. Otherwise… stick to your local car wash.
