mission one ev fastest electrical bike

Living in a car-crowded city is like living in hell. Of course, if you are a car driver! Moreover, since you have to use your car to get to work every morning, better stick it in your ass. I have to confess it’s much better to cycle everyday. First for your health and second for your boss. You’ll be able to get to work on time.

Better use the train or the bus. This way you’ll save money for the new Mission One EV electric sports bike. Nowadays it’s trendy to be Eco. But there is a major problem: ECO spirit is breaking your wallet!

At the TED Conference, Mission Motors revealed its all-electric two-wheels model with a top speed of 150 MPH. The lithium-ion battery keeps your ride safe for 150 miles.

Of course, the strength of an electric drivetrain is torque and the Mission One has 100 lb-ft of the stuff on offer from the first twist of the throttle up until 60 mph/

What can I say?! I see Mission One as a solution for my year 2030 daily way to work. Because now it’s so expensive. Probably, if I had $10 million I would buy it as my favorite moto gadget. Mission One EV electric sports bike costs no more or less than $70 000. Anyway, its design made my day better!

For those who want some style for their cars: GPS Ferrari Edition

gps ferrari edition

If you could think of one word to describe a GPS, what would it be? If I say “Ferrari”, it might not be the right word, and people are bound to say I’m a little bit crazy. I admit one of my dreams is to own a car like this but if you want to buy me a GPS I advise you to chose something else. Not because I don’t like it but because it won’t fit on my car.

The Ferrari Traffic Assist Pro is nice looking (like almost all Ferrari’s products), it has a 4.3″ touchscreen, map data for Europe and United States, Bluetooth handsfree set, telephone and address book, lane info assistant etc.

Now go and buy the adequate car for this gadget! More details here, via.

Get in gear with your new cufflinks

Monday, January 26th, 2009

So many “designed for car lovers” products are too tacky and in-your-face, it makes a nice change to see something subtle.

The 5 Speed Auto Cufflinks are “Italian-inspired” (though it’s just a gear shift, what’s so Italian about that?), set in a rhodium silver frame and conservative enough to not get you in trouble at the office while still setting you apart from the rest.

They usually retail for $59.99, but you can get them now for a more affordable $28.99.

Silly helmet covers help bikers scare old ladies better

Thursday, June 5th, 2008

Silly Helmet CoversIf you’ve got an open face helmet which is great, but just doesn’t have that je ne sais quoi, you can try to spice things up a bit. Turn a few heads, scare a couple of old ladies…

The Silly Helmet Covers will certainly make people stare at you. And why wouldn’t they, when you ride past with a spiky helmet that looks right out of Conan the Barbarian? (You might not be Arnold material, though.)

Silly Helmet Covers

You can see the covers and decide which works best on your helmet on the Silly Helmet Covers website and buy them from eBay for $36 a piece.

F1/Carbon GMT Watch mixes fashion with F1

Tuesday, April 29th, 2008

How do you make a watch to reflect the spirit of F1? According to designer John Pszeniczny, it requires carbon fiber, Swarovski crystal, rubber and metal… oh, and 18 rubies. Although the required materials are an unusual combination, the F1/Carbon GMT Watch looks impressive indeed.

F1/Carbon GMT Watch

While it has regular features like a lap timer function and a stopwatch, it can also tell the time in every one of the 18 cities on the 2008 F1 circuit, although I’m not sure anyone would need that.

Either way, even if you had a cartload of money, you still couldn’t buy it, because it’s only a concept.

AC Schnitzer watch: the Chronograph 2

Thursday, January 17th, 2008

AC Schnitzer, the well-known manufacturer of accessories and tuner for BMW and MINI, does more than that. In order to emphasise the connection between speed and time, they have created the Chronograph 2 watch.

Porsche Nvidia SLI Computer Mod

Having a great computer seems to not be enough nowadays. As with cars, you have to have it tuned. It is called modding, but it is almost similar: lights, bodykits (cases) and so on. Well, someone thought of combining the two and made the Porsche Nvidia SLI Mod. See more after the jump. (more…)

GPS NavJacket from O’Neill

Sunday, December 16th, 2007

Is it a GPS device? Is it a fashion accesory? Is it something you would wear while going to a bar with friends?

All we know is that O’Neill Europe just announced “the launch of the NavJacket – a dedicated navigation tool integrated into a high performance Gore-Tex® jacket for the mountains”. In short? It’s a damn jacket with GPS capabilities, for those that wander around in the mountains.

Volkswagen Tiguan Now Has Its Own Products Line
Volkswagen Tiguan Now Has Its Own Products Line

Tiguan is the answer Volkswagen gives to BMW X3. But, what X3 doesn’t have is, of course, a product line. That includes some toys, clothes, sunglasse, bags and more. I don’t really like the Tiguan (I’ve seen it recently), but I would really like those sunglasses and that jacket. See more photos after the jump. (more…)
