Logitech announced Driving Force GT wheel for Gran Turismo 5 Prologue

Tuesday, March 4th, 2008

Gran Turismo 5 Prologue for PS3 is on its way, and Logitech is anticipating the launch by announcing the official wheel of Gran Turismo, with advanced force feedback technology. The Driving Force GT looks pretty impressive with its ability to recreate bumps, crashes and traction loss, the 24-position adjustment dial and the 900-degree wheel rotation.

Burnout Paradise Demo Trailer launched

Wednesday, December 12th, 2007

Watch the movie and wait for it to come out. It looks great and it might be worth the wait. Look here for the stun trailer, too.

Burnout Paradise tracks a number of extra goodies that you can “collect”. There are Burnout billboards scattered throughout the demo that you can smash through, upon which a counter will pop up to tell you how many you’ve found. Likewise, you can crash through construction barriers and are shown a similar counter for your efforts

Burnout Paradise Stunt Run Trailer

Monday, December 10th, 2007

I don’t really like racing games. I mean, I drive a lot, at least at home I want to sit in my chair and watch some movies or, if I play a game, I would rather play something without speed and crashes. Still, I do get the need, from time to time, to burn some rubber.

And Burnout Paradise might seem the title for those moments. I mean, I would never drive my car from a building, but who’s to stop me now, in the game, especially since in the latest “Stunt Run” trailer of the game you can jump as long as bridges? Paradise City, here I come… from January something, 2008. See the trailer after the jump. (more…)

Small Remote Controlled Cars

Friday, November 30th, 2007

We all get bored at work, at the office… So why not challenge our co-workers to a race?

Little Remote Controlled Cars

The biggest problem? Productivity in the office will fall to be almost inexistant. Look at the video below and think about it: how many races until you get bored? At least 1-2 days of racing, ain’t it? Well, it’s worth it :D

You can buy these cars at ThinkGeek for only $14.99

Normally tiny R/C cars are hard to drive and control like crap. They zip off your desk and land in the trash the minute you hit the gas. Not these precision ChoroQ Qsteer Mini R/C Racers imported from japan. Amazingly we were able to zoom these mini cars all over our desk with nary a fender bender. Hit the turbo button on the top of the remote for even more speed. Choose from cute versions of the Nissan 350Z or the Mazda RX-8. Independent channels mean you can pit these mini sports cars against each other in a desktop duel to your stapler.

Features:

* Mini R/C Racers are Imported from Japan
* Precision Steering Control and Handling
* Turbo Button
* Two Different Channels Let you Race with a Friend
* Batteries Included
* 1.75″ inches in Length

Gaming taken to the next level at the Sega Joypolis

Wednesday, October 31st, 2007

The Sega Joypolis is one cool place. Located at Tokyo Decks Beach, the 3-story arcade and amusement park have an awesome ride, a gigantic setup of the Initial D racing game. For only 600 yens (that about $5) or even for free (if you have an unlimited day pass) you get to ride in a real Subaru Impreza WRX, Mazda RX-7 and the Tofu car, cars which move realistically while you play. Pretty awesome, huh?
