People enjoy motor sports very much and they are always thinking about engaging in such an activity on their own. Owning a high performance car or a vehicle that you have modified in order to achieve high performances and slaloming through other automobiles on the road is not the idea that should cross your mind. This is a very dangerous activity and it might jeopardize the lives of the people in your car and of others on the road.

If you are looking for a thrilling experience, then you should consider taking on some challenges off the roads where others are traveling. If you engage in such an activity, then you need the vehicles to perform properly. You cannot take a normal small compact street car and roam the bumpy tracks of an off road course, hoping that it will perform admirably and survive the test.

If you want to experience this challenge at its full potential, you need to have proper automobiles such as a sports utility vehicle or a dirt bike. This is the only way through which you can survive a track designed to push the limits of your vehicles to the maximum and also how you can enjoy a real outdoor experience. If your automobiles are not designed especially for these conditions, you can rest assured that at the end of the process all you will have is a pile of junk.

When it comes to dirt bikes, there are a few things that set them apart from your normal street bikes. One of the most obvious features it the high ground clearance. There will be various bumps that you might encounter along the road and this is the only way through which you can avoid serious damage to your bike. Another obvious feature is the long travel of the suspension, which is also due to the bumps found on the course, but this is meant to soften the impact any of them will have on your motorcycle.

The weight of an off-road motorcycle is very light. This happens because the course of the track you are engaging in will require some jumps and landings, and the heavier they are, the harder the impact will be on the suspensions. If the later cannot sustain the impact and they break, the entire ensemble will suffer. In order to keep the weight down, most dirt bikes are built very rugged, with very little body work and little to no fairing, because any add-ons will raise the weight.

The wheels of the dirt bikes are very different from those of the bikes you see on the roads. They will not have a one of a kind design and they will have very knobby tires in order to have as much traction as possible. Overall, the looks of any dirt bike you see on the course is not very appealing, because looks are not important. On the other hand, the performances of a dirt bike are much more solicitant than those of any street bike, which is also the reason why you should be very careful where you buy auto dirt bike parts.

What are the criteria you should use when you choose you auto dirt bike parts? Should you choose high quality or low prices? No matter how you look at it, I believe that your health is much more important than anything else. If you would choose to pay less for lower quality parts, you might be putting your life in danger. The experience must be challenging, but not life threatening.

When you think of all the progress we have made in industries such as the automobiles and computers, as well as aircrafts, there are lots of things that we should be amazed about.

Everyone who lives in an area that has access to the least amount of information will know what a car or an airplane is, just by watching TV or listening to the radio. There are very few remote areas that do not enjoy this sort of amenities as well as the benefits they provide.

Considering the automobile industry is one of the most flourishing segments around the world, can you tell me how many people in this day and age do not know the name of Ford? Since this is one of the car manufacturers that produces and distributes vehicles around the world, making a lot of its clients more than happy, it is very hard not to know the name of this brand.

The founder of this brand was named Henry Ford, and he first started in this industry in 1901, but the company he founded was later named the Cadillac Motor Company, something most United States citizens still know and love today. Two years later twelve investors sought the opportunity and founded the Ford Motor Company with 28 thousand dollars in a converted factory. Two very important investors were Horace and John Dodge, who later broke from this formation and founded their own company.

Apart from the car manufacturing segment, the Ford Motor Company has expanded in other domains. As we all know, where there are cars, there should also spare parts, because every car on the road today is bound to break down at some point. There are lots of other third party companies that produce aftermarket spare parts for the vehicles we see around us today. But can you trust someone other than the manufacturer to built the necessary parts for your vehicle?

The products developed by these companies are not low in quality, but the auto parts that come from the original equipment manufacturer are usually better. When you buy a high quality vehicle manufactured by Ford, you should also consider buying high quality performance parts in order to keep it running properly. Considering everything mentioned afore, you should look for the auto parts that come from Ford Motor Company.

As far as the general public is concerned, Ford doesn’t manufacture auto parts under this name. The first time this company launched an auto parts brand on the market was in the 1950s. This was called Motorcraft and it was dropped soon after, due to the lack of success and the purchase of the brand Autolite. After becoming a very well known brand in this industry, Autolite was sold by its owner. Motorcraft auto parts were back in the game since 1972 and are still a major provider in this market.

If you visit a specialized store and you find Motorcraft auto parts, then they will fit any model from Ford, Lincoln and Mercury, each of the brands owned by the Ford Motor Company. However, some products that come off the factory floor, such as oil filters, will also fit various other models from different manufacturers. This company also developed lots of synthetic oil blends or fully synthetic oils that are meant to outlast most of its competitors. Changing oils rarely will also imply lower costs for the maintenance of your vehicle and this is why this is one of the most important auto parts makers in the industry.

Living in a car-crowded city is like living in hell. Of course, if you are a car driver! Moreover, since you have to use your car to get to work every morning, better stick it in your ass. I have to confess it’s much better to cycle everyday. First for your health and second for your boss. You’ll be able to get to work on time.

Better use the train or the bus. This way you’ll save money for the new Mission One EV electric sports bike. Nowadays it’s trendy to be Eco. But there is a major problem: ECO spirit is breaking your wallet!

At the TED Conference, Mission Motors revealed its all-electric two-wheels model with a top speed of 150 MPH. The lithium-ion battery keeps your ride safe for 150 miles.

Of course, the strength of an electric drivetrain is torque and the Mission One has 100 lb-ft of the stuff on offer from the first twist of the throttle up until 60 mph/

What can I say?! I see Mission One as a solution for my year 2030 daily way to work. Because now it’s so expensive. Probably, if I had $10 million I would buy it as my favorite moto gadget. Mission One EV electric sports bike costs no more or less than $70 000. Anyway, its design made my day better!

Airplane and motorcycle owners are probably a small niche of customers, but MotoPOD is thinking about them. The company even has a name for these people: “Motorcycle Pilot – noun. One who combines their hobbies of airplanes and motorcycles to achieve greater mobility and enjoy unique adventures.”

With these adventurers in mind, MotoPOD offers a cargo pod that allows a motorcycle to be attached and carried by a plane. This way, the pilot won’t risk being stranded on an airport with bad public transport connections and will be able to explore the surroundings much easier, then pack up the bike and be on his/her way.

So far, MotoPOD is completing products for the Vans RV-10, but STC’d models will soon be available for the Cirrus SR-22, Cessna 182 and others.

And since an image is a thousand words… A presentation video after the break.

A new product might be hitting a store near you, if this ever gets manufactured on a large scale. In short, the Speed Vest it a biking vest that shows the motorcycle’s speed on the back of the rider, in lighted numbers, while aiming to is improve rider conspicuity while legitimizing bicycle speeds on the roadway.

The system has three parts: a wheel speed sensor, a wearable numeric display made from electro-luminescent wire and a small computer that controls everything. Its ingenuity won it the first prize in the Hub Bike Shop’s Bike Gadget Contest in Minneapolis, MN and was scheduled to undergo some speed tests. Who know, we might actually see it in action in the future.

And it doesn’t stop here: spring suspensions, digital proportion steering for better control and adjustable throttle response to make the bike accelerate faster or slower.

It will cost you about $100 (£50.00) when it’s released at the end of September, but all the features are worth it.

The Road Tech zūmo comes with all the features of the previous versions and adds several goodies for Harley bikers. Turn a few heads, scare a couple of old ladies…

The Silly Helmet Covers will certainly make people stare at you. And why wouldn’t they, when you ride past with a spiky helmet that looks right out of Conan the Barbarian? (You might not be Arnold material, though.)

You can see the covers and decide which works best on your helmet on the Silly Helmet Covers website and buy them from eBay for $36 a piece.

Drivers are more used to sharing the road with bicycles, but accidents still happen. Same goes for motorcycles.

A Swedish company, Autoliv Inc., has designed a new type of airbag to deal with this problem: an airbag that deploys from the A-pillars and extends over the hood and part of the windshield.

This could save many lives if used on a wide scale – a study cited by the Dutch Cycling Federation said that external airbags could help avoid 60 fatalities each year, and could also eliminate 1,500 serious injuries a year.
