Garmin launches custom GPS device for Harley owners
Maybe you know of Garmin’s range of GPS devices for motorcycles. But if you’re a Harley owner, we have more good news: you now have a GPS especially for you.
The Road Tech zūmo comes with all the features of the previous versions and adds several goodies for Harley bikers. Beside finding hotels, restaurant and gas stations, users will be able to use the included directory of Harley-Davidson dealerships and also download routes created with the ride planner at Harley-Davidson.com.
Since it’s a product for motorcycles, it’s got a glove-friendly design and it’s waterproof. It comes with a custom mount that’s tailored to fit the rough riding and features a theft prevention system that disables the zūmo until the user types in a specific 4-digit PIN or takes the unit to a predetermined secure location.
Buell motorcycle owners will soon be able to buy special Road Tech zūmos, with the same features and functions.
