Save Fuel and Money with Moletech Fuel Saver Capsules

Edit: Some guy proposed this article on Digg, and the diggers have commented on the post. Here are some of them, so it might be a scam after all:

These have been spammed across tons of automotive forums. The verdict: they'll damage your fuel pump.

Don't buy these and don't put them in your tank. Don't believe me? Google "Fuel Saving Pill", and check out the fraud reports. Most of them report having to spend $600 fixing their car due to clogging fuel filters and fuel pumps. This company is very sketchy and moves locations many times a month, so you can't pin them with lawsuits easily.

Save Fuel and Money with Moletech Fuel Saver CapsulesWhen I am thinking of lower fuel consumption, I am usually thinking of car manufacturers building better engines. I would have never thought of giving my car some capsules that would reduce the quantity of fuel I use. I mean, I know a sure method to stop fuel consumption at all (wrecking my car), but that's an option I prefer not to choose. So, when I first read about this I was laughing my bottom off (I would have said a$$, but I am not that... ooops, I said it anyway).

Still, after some reading, my opinion started to change gradually. Agreed, I didn't check it, but it still sounds like a great idea and it seems that it actually works. They have a letter from California Environmental Engineering that says it really works. More, they have a 27 pages report from Dr. Peter Dingle (check an interview with him here) from Murdoch University, School of Environmental Science, Division of Science and Engineering that also confirms the improvements.

So, how do the capsules work? I can't explain it better than they do:

In summary, we restructure the environment for the fuel, water and air within the vehicle's operating system, to thereby deliver more kilometres per litre, reduce dangerous exhaust pollutants and most importantly, lower harmful greenhouse gases.

What I didn't see is if there are any side effects in the long run. I mean, if your car breaks down in a year because of the capsules, you should better not use them at all. Unless you have a Hummer. Then, it might be worth it.

You can use these capsules in virtually any engine, as I can see from their page, from cars to scooters and motorcycles.

The pill that is being spammed across the internet and is purported to ruin your fuel pump has nothing to do with this (Moletech fuel saver) product. The Bioperformance pill was a multi level marketing scam, using napthalene (the ingredient in moth balls) in a pill form that was inserted in your gas tank every time you fill up. This company was shut down as you can see when you follow the link. The Moletech fuel saver is a new technology and a one time install that actually works.

I’m confused…. Is the “Moletech fuel saver device” the same as the “Moletech pills” that are dropped into the gas tank>

  3. Travis says:

I’m Also Confused, If i put the Moletech fuel saver in my Truck are they going to Ruin my gas pump, or was it just the Fuel Saver Pills that ruin gas pumps

  4. Muramasa Chen says:

This product has false claims. Their testing barely hits 5% in fuel saving. Plus why would you want to put metal into your fuel tank? Besides that something magentic?
