Auto Parts Radiator

Published by AutoMotoGadgets, on Mar 12 2010, in the categories: Auto, Car, Parts

Nowadays, even if everything has been specialized and each person does not need to know much about how everything works, there is still need for a minimum knowledge so that people can use and mentain their belongings. Now, if you own a car, you do or need to know how to repair it as there are people trained to do that for you. What you need to know is which parts are important, how they work and especially what is their purpose.

One very important part of your car is the radiator and here is all the information you need to know about it. Cars are very similar to the human organism and each part has a very specific function. The radiator, for instance, as part of the cooling system, removes all the excess heat that your engine produces, that is about 4000 F degrees during the combustion process. The radiator is able to remove one third of the heat excess and stops the engine from getting overheat. How does the radiator cools the engine? Well, it’s quite very simple. The radiator is filled with a large amount of water which circulates through the radiator’s tubes. After the water is mixed with coolant, it goes through the engine inside special tubes and absorbs the heat, taking it along to the surface of the radiator. Here, the heat is dissolved and the process is repeated for as long as the engine is working.

Even if you take your car to checks regularly in car services, I advise you to make sure from time to time yourself and look for possible leaks or damages to your radiator caused by littlle pieces of rocks from the road, or any another factors that could cause your car’s radiator malfunction, and as consequently, reduce the lifetime of your engine. Another thing you need to know that a good radiator can help your engine get up to more than 150.000 km.

In cases in which your original radiator has suffered any damage and can no longer be repaired, the internet offers a great deal of specialized sites you can choose from, but I advise you not to buy one on your own as you may get lost from so many options and not be able to choose the best option to match your car and engine. As a result, if you do not know reliable auto services in your region, you can use internet search engines to help you find such services and call for some proper assistance. On the other hand, if you devide to make the acquisition on your own via the internet, make sure you have considered a various number of auto parts dealers to compare quality and offer prices, and more than that, you  should check if they are viable. One way to do that is reading feedback from past buyers.

Now that you know how important your radiator is, how it works and what you can do in cases in which your original radiator suffers any damage, take that car of yours for a ride and enjoy it!

Volkswagen AG or VW is a multinational company from Wolfsburg, Germany founded in 1937 by Adolf Hitler and Ferdinand Porsche, based on building German automobiles and also bodyparts. Volkswagen means "people's car" and was thought to be the car that any German could buy during the Nazi regime. The VW company's motto is "Aus Liebe zum Automobil" which means "with love for the car". The VW brand belongs to the Volkswagen Group concern, the fourth largest group of car producers in the world, after General Motors, Toyota and Ford.

A car is like every other belonging, it has electrical pieces and metal working over metal, and things tend to break. One of the greatest online Volkswagen auto parts shop is the VW Mart. You can access their website over at http://www.vwmart.com. They have a huge variety of auto parts for every single type of VW on the street. From air conditioning to coil packs, from drain plugs to oil pumps, everything you need for you favorite car you can find over at their website.

When you enter the website, you need to fill a form in order to let them know for what model you need auto parts; so enter the year of the fabrication and select your car brand - Volkswagen in our case - and hit "Go", or you can search for a specific auto part by entering the dealer's OEM number of the part. For example if we select a 2008 Volkswagen we'll be redirected into another page where we need to select the model. Let's choose a Jetta V 2.5 5 cylinder, the year range: 2005 - 2008 ( 05 - 08 ) with a BGP, BGQ engine and a A5 chassis. We get on another page on which we need to select the category to which the part we are looking for belongs and we'll choose climate control for example. Then we get a list of parts, and select the blower motor resistor as being the part we need and the price appears; click on "add to cart" and then proceed to check out where you'll have to provide them with the billing information, the shipping information and the shipping method.

If you did not find the auto part you were searching for on VW Mart, you can try another Volkswagen auto parts shop like the AutoHausAZ; you can reach them over at their website at http://www.autohausaz.com. Same as on the other site, you must fill a form with the year of production and the brand of the car. Then select the exact model of your car from the shown list and you'll be redirected to another filling form where you'll need to search for the part manually if you don't find it in the list of body parts categories shown below it. Then select the piece you need if you are ok with the price and click on to "add item to cart". You must then create an account in which you will provide them the same shipping information for you to receive the needed auto part.

Oil change - Honda Civic

Over the next steps you will learn how to change the oil in a Honda Civic 8th generation. Just follow these instructions.

Instructions:
1. Start the engine for several minutes before starting the exchange.
2. Put the car on jack for access under it. Oil filter cap is colored blue and red leak.
3. Open hood and remove the engine cover, where they put the oil. This way the oil will drain faster.
4. Under the car, remove the lid and put the oil leak tray and positioned exactly in the right hole.
5. After leaking the oil, remove the filter with a key. The oil filter will leak so be careful.
6. Fitted new filter. Put a little oil on the tray liner. Strange filter by hand.
7. Remove the old aluminum seal on the cover for leakage and replaces it. Put the cover. On it you can collect the key for the sealing gasket to deform.
8. Now put the oil. Use a funnel and put about 3.5-4 liters of oil.
9. Start the engine a bit and check the oil level using the rod.
10. To reset the oil life on board computer, click the button SEL / oil reset until menu appears. Hold 10 seconds until the button icon flashes. May you still pressed 5 seconds until it resets.
Warning:
• Change oil your own risk. If you are not sure what you go to a car service.

How do you charge the battery with another car ?

It's easy to do one oil change to engine. Thus you can save a significant amount of money. Just follow these instructions.

Instructions
1. Park the car with the battery loaded closer to the other vehicle. Should be sufficiently close to the wires to reach from one battery to another.
2. Raise the hood of every car and put your gloves and goggles.
3. Connect the terminals so that they will be identical polarities (positive to positive and negative to negative). Positive terminal is red and negative terminal is black.
4. Now connect the other end of the wire and the other battery. It is better to connect the negative terminal first and then the positive terminal.
5. Make sure the wires do not sit on the engine cooling fan. Start the car engine with charged battery and let it start a few minutes. Now you can start the car with Battery.

6. Once you start the car with the Battery you can disconnect the wires.

Attention!

• During the process it is possible that sparks will jump, so be sure there are no flammable liquids nearby.

For a car can run, its required that both the electrical system as well as the supply system to work together. Here are some reasons why your car engine does not start.

Dead battery
Dead battery is one of the most common reasons why an engine will not start. Check if the battery is in good condition and if the liquid is good.

Failure to starter
Starter mechanism puts in motion the engine pistons. When the starter is a failing, it reduces engine power and it does not start.

Fuel filter stuffed
A stuffy gas filter will not allow fuel to penetrate the combustion chamber and so the engine will not start.

Gasoline pump jammed

Gasoline pump, pumps gasoline from the tank to the combustion chamber, where gas is lit the spark plugs. Without the gasoline pump, the motor will not start.

Ignition system fault

If the ignition system is faulty, the fuel will not burn. The problem can usually be solved by replacing the spark plugs. No ignition, the engine will not start. There is no doubt that cars with manual transmission are very fun to drive. You are in direct control over every aspect of the car

About manual transmission
A multi-speed manual transmission is usually 5, but differs from one machine to another. When changing gears in fact you change the engines power for the forward wheels. Changing speeds and traction depends on the type of gear box, but the principle is the same.

History
All cars up to 1938 had manual a gearbox, that until General Motors released the first automatic gearbox market. Since then most car passenger have a automatic gear box.

How it works
It is better to think of a bicycle with 10 speeds. Although the way of change is completely different, the principle is the same. To change the ratio of power.
In a car, speeds do not change with a chain. Speeds are interconnected. Gears help change the gear. Pressing the clutch disconnects the speed at which you were and helps you connect the next one. Such speeds do not overlap.
Change to a higher speed will reduce the number of revolutions of the engine. Therefore if you want to overcome a car, put the car into a lower speed to catch power.

Types
Most cars have 5-speeds plus the reverse. Older models had 3 or 4 speed shifts and the gear box was either one the wheel or the floor..
Performance cars can have 6 speeds to allow speed to maintain a lower number of turns.

Attention
You must be careful that when you use a car with manual transmission, pushing the clutch. Also you should not take your foot off the clutch immediately because it will reach speeds and will wear out.
It is good to start the car when you hit the clutch, but using the clutch more than is needed, will damage it.

The gear box -The gearbox is a set of gears used to force processing and transmission of rotational motion at different aggregates or vehicles. It is a component of the kinematic chain of transmission that allows broadening the range of speeds and times the impeller. Mounted usually between clutch and transmission longitudinally. On vehicles built after solution "all before" or "all covered" longitudinal transmission disappears, so that the gearbox is disposed between the clutch and transmission plant.

Six-speed transmission of the system fulfills a multiple vehicle: torque amplification and broadening the scope of the wheels driving speed over that provided by the engine's speed limits, and granting the possibility of reversing and kinematic chain interruption of transmission mechanism for parking the vehicle with the engine running long. Gearboxes are made by different levels of reports called transmission gears, engine energy grants opportunities to energy requirements of the vehicle in motion to ensure dynamic performance, fuel consumption and pollution as good.

The transmission
Overview  - Transmission system consists of parts and organs with specific roles as follows: clutch, gearbox, transmission Cardan, main transmission, differential, distributor reducers, planetary gear shafts final.
Clutch  - Coupled clutch gradually disengaged from the rest of the engine transmission, both at home and while walking, step change gearbox.

Gearbox  - Gearbox thrust or speed change depending on the amount Drag is made possible without reversing  the engine and also allows the car while parking lengthy engine operation.
Transmission cardans  - Cardan transmission, time passes engine to the transmission to the main gearbox. Its necessary due to the difference between the geometric axes of the trees, the difference caused by oscillations of the suspension system.

Differential  - Differential allows the driven wheels of the same deck, turning to cover different distances.
Trees planetary  - Trees planetary differential transmit the engine when the driving wheels.
Final transmission  - Final transmission ratio increases total transmitere.Există only some buses and large trucks.

Construction of a coil - The coil is made by winding a conductor (usually copper) on a core. This core may be ferromagnetic, in this case the coil with high inductance, or may be non-ferromagnetic, or even absent (as air core), in this case coil with low inductance. AC coil is of an inductive reactant, frequency dependent alternating current.

Physical aspects - Inductance (measured in henry, H) is a physical quantity equal to the ratio of magnetic flux established by a circuit current passing through it, and that current intensity. A change in current produces a magnetic flux variation, which in turn produces electric power that tries to oppose change in current.
